The story.
The film was shot in February 2003 by John Sullivan and Gard Andreassen while staying in Jalalabad under the protection of a local warlord. They accompanied a group of specially trained US soldiers in search of terrorists in Afghanistan. The result has become a tragicomic portrait of desperate actions by confused soldiers - all under the banner of freedom and in the fight against international terrorism.
The Awarded film made a huge international success when released. Never before has anyone followed the actions of the US Special Forces so closely from such a perspective.
